WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY ABOUT US
I had an urgent review at Siha following a large filling which was causing me discomfort. Dr Hannan and his team were extremely welcoming and the environment felt immediately calming (which is so beneficial given how anxiety-provoking dentistry can be). Dr Hannan checked my tooth and explained really clearly what he thought was causing my post-treatment pain and also advised how to undergo further intervention if the discomfort persisted, taking into account a recent unsuccessful root canal treatment I'd had. Thank you!
Outstanding. I was travelling and needed assistance with a complex issue. Received super professional care in a cost, well located clinic.
Dr. Imran and the staff were timely service oriented and kind. I recommend warmly.
I had a great experience with my dental appointment. I came in for an emergency filling and I found everyone to be very accommodating and the dentist to be extremely competent and kind.
The office is also beautifully designed. I will definitely return!

DENTAL EMERGENCY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW QUICKLY CAN I GET AN EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT?
We aim to see emergency patients as quickly as possible, and same-day appointments are often available depending on demand. The fastest way to secure a slot is to call or WhatsApp, or book online, and we’ll confirm the earliest available appointment for your situation.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO TREAT ME ON THE SAME DAY?
In many cases, treatment can often be carried out on the same day as your emergency appointment. Whether we can treat immediately depends on what’s needed, how long the treatment takes, and clinical assessment on the day – but our priority is always to relieve pain, stabilise the issue, and give you clear next steps.
HOW MUCH DOES AN EMERGENCY DENTAL APPOINTMENT COST?
An emergency dental appointment is £49 and includes a comprehensive assessment, a prescription if clinically appropriate, and a personalised treatment plan. X-rays and treatment are charged separately, but you’ll be guided through your options after the assessment with clear, transparent pricing.
WILL I KNOW THE COST BEFORE ANY TREATMENT STARTS?
Yes. If treatment is recommended, we’ll explain the options and discuss the costs before anything begins, so you can make an informed decision. We’ll answer your questions and ensure you’re comfortable with the plan before proceeding.
HOW MUCH DOES TREATMENT TYPICALLY COST AFTER THE £49 APPOINTMENT?
Treatment costs vary depending on the cause of the problem and the type of treatment required. After your examination (and X-rays if needed), we’ll outline the recommended approach and provide clear pricing and options, so you understand the likely costs before you decide how to proceed.
DO YOU ACCEPT DENTAL INSURANCE, AND HOW DOES THAT WORK?
Yes – we accept dental insurance providers. Please bring your insurer details (and any policy information you have), and we can provide the documentation you may need for your claim. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your plan, so if you’re unsure what’s included, your insurer can confirm your specific benefits.
DO YOU OFFER NHS EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS?
We are a private practice and do not provide NHS emergency appointments. However, we can often offer faster access, a clear £69 emergency appointment fee, and transparent pricing for any treatment recommended after your assessment.
WHAT IF I’M NERVOUS OR ANXIOUS ABOUT TREATMENT?
That’s very common – especially during a dental emergency. We take a calm, step-by-step approach, explain what we’re doing and why, and you can ask questions or pause at any time. If you’re feeling anxious, mention it when booking so we can support you from the moment you arrive. You can also opt for treatment on a different day when we can offer sedation to help you feel super relaxed.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
If possible, bring a list of your current medications, any relevant medical information, and your insurance details if you plan to use them. If you have any recent dental records or X-rays, those can also help, but don’t worry if you don’t – the priority is getting you seen without delaying care.
WHAT IF I’M PREGNANT / HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION / TAKE BLOOD THINNERS?
Please let us know when you book and again at your appointment. We’ll review your medical history as part of the examination, and treatment recommendations can be adapted to keep you safe and comfortable. Bringing a current medication list (and any relevant medical notes, if you have them) is helpful.
DO YOU SEE CHILDREN FOR EMERGENCIES?
Yes, we can see children for dental emergencies. A parent or guardian will need to attend, and it helps to bring any relevant medical information or medication details. If you’re unsure whether the issue is urgent, call us and we’ll advise what to do next.
CAN I GET ANTIBIOTICS/PRESCRIPTION AT THE APPOINTMENT IF NEEDED?
If a prescription is clinically appropriate, we can provide one following your assessment. Not all dental pain requires antibiotics, and in many cases the best treatment is to address the underlying cause directly. We’ll explain what’s recommended and why, based on your symptoms and examination.
WHAT QUALIFIES AS A DENTAL EMERGENCY?
A dental emergency typically includes severe tooth pain, swelling or suspected infection, trauma (such as a knocked or broken tooth), uncontrolled bleeding, or any issue that’s rapidly getting worse. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll advise. If you have facial swelling affecting breathing/swallowing or heavy uncontrolled bleeding, seek urgent medical help immediately.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I KNOCK OUT A TOOTH?
If a tooth is knocked out, handle it by the crown (avoid touching the root), rinse it gently with saline if dirty, and try to place it back in its socket without forcing it. If reinsertion isn’t possible, keep the tooth moist by placing it in a container of milk or saliva or saline. Contact us immediately at 020 4602 3510 to increase the chances of saving the tooth.
HOW CAN I MANAGE SEVERE TOOTH PAIN BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
For severe tooth pain, rinse your mouth with warm saltwater, use dental floss to remove any trapped debris, and apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek to reduce swelling. Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or paracetamol can also help, but avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums. Reach out to us as soon as possible for professional care.
