Your new patient consultation
Initial phone consultation
- You'll have an initial phone call with our patient concierge
- They'll discuss your dental history, immediate needs, and long-term goals
- An in-person appointment will be arranged
In-practice consultation
- On the day of your appointment at our Shepherd's Bush practice, you'll be greeted by our friendly reception team
- You'll be offered a drink and a comfortable seat in our waiting area
- Take this time to familiarise yourself with our unique dental environment
- You'll then be invited to the consultation room to meet your dentist
- You'll discuss your dental needs and short and long-term goals, including general dental health and any cosmetic treatments
- Your dentist will use this information to create a 10 and 20-year plan, tailored to you as part of our holistic approach
Clinical check
- You'll be invited to the treatment suite for a clinical check
- This includes scans, photos, X-rays, and a full mouth and oral health check, including oral cancer screening
Treatment plan presentation
- Back in the consultation room, your dentist will discuss their findings and suggest a treatment plan
- If extensive treatment is needed, our patient concierge will follow up with you via telephone
- Your treatment plan will be presented in three parts:
1. What needs to be done,
2. What could be done, and what will need to be done in the future
3. Elective treatment, such as cosmetic enhancements - For cosmetic treatments like composite bonding and dental veneers, you'll receive a digital smile design mock-up to preview your new smile
- Your personalised treatment plan presentation, including costs, will be sent to you as a PDF for your review
